Luxury Holidays to Thailand
Temples. Tropics.
And everything in between.
Thailand has a habit of giving you more than you came for.
Yes, there are extraordinary beaches. But there are also lantern-lit temples, jungle-covered mountains, brilliant cities, tiny islands, incredible food and some of the warmest hospitality in Asia.
Spend a few days getting deliciously lost in Bangkok. Head north for temples, markets and misty mountains. Then disappear to an island where shoes become increasingly unnecessary.
Because choosing Thailand is the easy part.
Choosing your Thailand is where we come in.

Thailand can be wonderful throughout the year, but the best time to visit depends on which part of the country you're travelling to.
Generally, November to February brings warm, drier weather across Bangkok, northern Thailand and much of the Andaman coast, including Phuket.
The Gulf of Thailand, including Koh Samui, follows a different weather pattern, so it can be a great option at times when other parts of Thailand are experiencing more rain. Tell us when you'd like to travel and we'll recommend the regions and islands that make the most sense for your dates.

For a first luxury holiday to Thailand, we'd usually suggest 10 to 14 nights. That gives you enough time to experience more than one side of the country without spending too much of your holiday packing and unpacking.
A classic itinerary might combine a few nights in Bangkok with a week or more on the beach, while a longer journey could include northern Thailand before finishing in Phuket, Koh Samui or one of the smaller islands. We'll always consider the pace of the journey as carefully as the places themselves.

There isn't one answer — and that's one of the things we love most about Thailand.
Choose Bangkok for incredible food, culture and city energy; northern Thailand for temples, mountains and a slower pace; Phuket for exceptional luxury resorts and easy access to the Andaman coast; or Koh Samui for tropical beaches, beautiful villas and laid-back island life.
The best place to stay is ultimately the one that suits how you like to travel, which is why we'd rather match you with the right destination than simply send you to the most famous one.

Absolutely. Thailand is particularly good for couples who want their honeymoon to feel like more than just a beach holiday.
You could begin with rooftop cocktails and incredible restaurants in Bangkok, head north for culture and adventure, then finish in a private pool villa overlooking the sea. There are some exceptional luxury hotels and resorts throughout Thailand, so we can make the journey as adventurous, indulgent or beautifully slow as you'd like.

Yes — and it's one of our favourite ways to experience Thailand for the first time.
Bangkok provides the energy: temples, markets, incredible restaurants, river journeys and rooftop evenings. Then you can swap the city for somewhere altogether slower, whether that's Phuket, Koh Samui or a smaller island.
The contrast works beautifully and makes the holiday feel like two completely different journeys in one.

For the greatest choice of luxury hotels, villas and preferred room categories, we'd recommend planning well ahead if you're travelling during popular periods such as Christmas, New Year, February half-term or Easter.
Booking earlier is particularly worthwhile if you have your heart set on a specific hotel or villa, or if you're travelling as a family and need connecting rooms or particular sleeping arrangements. If you're travelling outside peak periods, there can be more flexibility.
